About Us


Bahay Pag-ibig is the result of the mission of the local Church of San Fernando, Pampanga to the poor, sick and abandoned. The Archbishop of the Archdiocese of San Fernando and through the initiative of Rev. Fr. Florentino "Boyet" Concepcion from Bustos, Bulacan who for God's greater glory and through the steadfast prayers responded to God's call to care for the poor and be with the poor.


Fr. Boyet after establishing Emmaus House, instituted Bahay Pag-ibig on June 16, 1988, Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at an old rented house of the Freancisco Nepomuceno family in Angeles City. It was operated through voluntary contributions and volunteer workers. Later it was transferred to a bigger location at Holy Angel Village, Telabastagan, San Fernando, Pampanga which was donated by the heirs of Don Juan Nepomuceno.

Bahay Pag-ibig, non profit, non government and political institution is headed by a Board of Trustees as policy making body and subject to the authority granted to the board by the Roman Catholic Archbishop of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Today, Bahay Pag-big continues to fulfill its mission and operate through the help of its staff and volunteer workers and volunteer benefactors and will continue to sustain and implement its programs and services with the support and encouragement of concerned individuals who can help out of love and for the greater glory of God.

MISSION AND VISION

To provide an atmosphere and home for the Residents where they will be cared for through concrete acts of kindness, hope and love that is wholistics in approach (physical, psychological, spiritual). A home where they could live with dignity and find companionship, friendship ang love.

PROGRAM AND SERVICES

Social Services - refer to the examination of the family background and other social-personal condition of the patient which can aid the house core body information about the patient.

Dietary Services - looks after the appropriate nutritional needs of patient.

Homelife Services - caters to the immediate physical needs (feeding, bath, and other personal care) and other homelife experiences such as T. V viewing, relaxation, praying together, eating together and other daily activities.

Religious Services - attend to spiritual needs through Holy Mass, devotion and other participated in by those who are capable have it and the like.

Medical Services - gives proper medication or treatment, check-up. There are times they are aided by professional help volunteered by those outside the house.

CLIENTELE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION

Abandoned

These are adult individuals who are unwanted and who do not have any relatives who can provide for their basic needs like food, clothing and shelter.

Indigents and Sick Persons

These are adult individuals who are infirmed and can not support themselves. Other similarly situated individuals may be eligible.

Disabled

These are individuals who are sick and unable to care for themselves without help. They are homeless and abandoned.

Requirements for Admission

1. 60 years old and above

2. Social Case Study Report (from DSWD or Social Worker)

3. Medical Records

4. Chest X-Ray and Laboratory (CBC/ECG/GBS or RBS)

5. Admission is temporary (minimum of 2 weeks to 3 months)

6. Psychiatric Evaluation

7. Relative or Barangay Captain's consent

How You Can Help

. Be a volunteer

. Be a Lingap Matua (LIMA) Club Member

. May donate Cash or kind like

a) medicines for hypertension, diarrhea, antibiotics, paracetamol, efficascent oil, omega pain reliever, vicks vaporub;

b) bath soap, alcohol, urax, lotion, cologne, shampoo, toothpaste;

c) lysol, mop head with handle, powder soap and bar soap;

d) canned goods, cooking oil, sugar, milk, coffee, oatmeal, rice malagkit and frozen meat
